We are seeking a friendly and outgoing host and food runners to join our team at our new restaurant. The hosts will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and providing excellent customer service to ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience.  While food runners will be responsible for bringing food order to guests from the kitchen, completing takeout orders, and staying calm in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating them at their tables

• Manage reservations and waitlists using a computerized system

• Answer phone calls and respond to online inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Running food and takeout orders to the correct destination 

• Taking and organizing take out orders including in house and DoorDash

• Perform light cleaning duties, such as wiping down tables and sweeping the floor

• Help maintain a clean and organized dining room

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a host/runner or in a customer service role is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
